A project of art-therapeutic and social-adaptive support for students has begun at UEPA within the UPSHIFT program

The team of students of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy “PozytyV” within its “Hut of peace” project started its meetings on social adaptive support within UPSHIFT program, which is implemented in Kharkiv region by the “DUIT” NGO with the support of UNICEF and the Japanese government.

In the student co-working space of the academy, the first of a series of meetings with an art-therapeutic bias was held, during which the participants tried meditation, which helped to understand feelings and experiences. Participants liberated internally, drew mantras, made postcards with pleasant wishes to each other, which they colored and signed to remember this day.

The meeting ended with a feedback from the transferring of the soft dog named Pyrizhok.

On Sunday, participants will have the opportunity to informally learn about each other`s hobbies, paint gingerbread biscuits and play the game “Sell if you can”.

The “PozytyV” team is represented by students of the practical psychology department and the department of food technology, light industry and design of UEPA.
