An open online lecture by Franz Ernst Hofweber, a therapist in alternative and Far Eastern medicine, was held for the community of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy on 9 May. The lecture was attended mainly by students and teachers of the Department of Practical Psychology, which is more closely related to the topic of the report.
The lecturer spoke about the twelve meridians - energy channels that allegedly exist in the human body and, by influencing them, it is possible to deprive human of certain diseases and improve the quality of life.
The students were cautious about the information provided, and one of the most important questions was about the evidence of the lecture's credibility.
UEPA Vice-Rector Oleksandr Kupriianov thanked Mr Franz Hofweber for the opportunity to get an alternative point of view on the process of human treatment and invited him to visit the Academy when the security situation in Kharkiv allows.
