An academic cooperation Agreement was signed between UEPA and the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz (Poland)

 

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy has signed an Agreement on academic cooperation with Wyższą Szkołą Gospodarki W Bydgoszczy (University of Economics in Bydgoszcz), Poland, within the framework of the Internationalization Concept of UEPA.

This Agreement was initiated by the department of restaurant, hotel and tourism business of UEPA and is based on the previous cooperation of the one with the relevant departments of the University. The signed Agreement provides grounds for cooperation in the following areas:

− ensuring the mobility of applicants and teachers;

− conducting joint research and/or didactic work;

− joint holding of scientific-practical and scientific-methodical conferences;

− participation in European programs on a partnership basis;

− publishing of textbooks, manuals and other educational and scientific-methodical literature;

− teachers training;

− exchange of manuals, written works and other publications;

− exchange of experience in the organization of the didactic process and curricula for similar specialties;

− exchange of applicants (internships, student scientific and practical conferences, etc.);

− implementation of joint research projects;

− joint use of laboratories;

− development, organization and implementation of double degree programs;

− establishing and managing  language schools;

− joint organization and holding of cultural events.

The University of Economics in Bydgoszcz is the largest non-state institution of higher education in the northern part of Poland. Today, more than 7,000 students from Poland study at the university, as well as a large number of foreign students. The high quality of education is achieved due to performance of 500 outstanding academic teachers from Poland and abroad.

The university campus, with a total area of 8 hectares, is one of the largest in the region. These are dozens of modernly equipped buildings located in the city center on the banks of the river:

− 15 buildings;

− 15 computer laboratories;

− specialized classrooms and laboratories;

− more than 60 classes (a total of 1,600 places);

− embankment pier;

− a modern gym with climbing bars;

− a complex of dormitories for students;

− 1,5 hectares of recreational area, an arboretum with a geological display.
