For the period from December 12 to December 16, delegates from the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy – Olga Blahiy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Food Technologies, Light Industry and Design, Yuliya Dudneva, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Management and Olha Kaidalova, Manager of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies, International Relations Relations and Academic mobility, – visited the University of Rzeszów, Poland as part of the international credit mobility of the Erasmus+ program.

It is one of the largest universities in the city, which comprises 6 collegiums, 21 institutes and more than 16,000 students. Each of the representatives had their own tasks during the working visit and a separate receiving unit. Thus, Olga Blahiy, under the leadership of her curator Agatha Pavlovska performed a number of activities at the host Institute of Food Technologies and Nutrition of Rzeszów University, in particular:

− studied the course «Food Science & Design»;

− visited the innovative laboratory work of the department teachers on the extraction of fats and the determination of sugar content by chromatography;

− familiarized herself with the working methods of state-of-the-art equipment and mastered the relevant skills.

In addition, the ways of future cooperation were discussed and the signing of an agreement between educational institutions was agreed upon. It should be noted that this was not the first working visit to the University for Olga.

Yulia Dudneva was received by the Institute of Economics and Finance and personally by Magdalena Surai. Yulia got acquainted with the general structure of the institute, the material and technical base of the University, learned about the similarities and differences in the process of admission, selection and study in Poland compared to Ukraine, made a presentation for Polish students about UEPA and prepared a course for students on the topic «Recourses for start –ups». She was also invited to the jury of the student scientific conference «Research from the point of view of students». At this conference, scientific research projects were presented by students of the University of Rzeszów paired with students who came to study under the Erasmus+ exchange program. All reports and communication at the event were held in English, in such a way the management and teaching staff of the Institute encourage students to cooperate and show wide perspectives and opportunities for them within the framework of such exchange programs.

Olga Kaidalova spent her working week at the International Department of the University of Rzeszów, where she studied the experience and approaches to international activity, learned about the existing projects and programs that are currently being implemented at the University. The cultural program was no less rich and inspiring. Our delegates had a great opportunity to see Christmas Europe, visit Christmas markets in Rzeszów and Krakow, listen to Ukrainian songs performed by Poles in the Rzeszów Philharmonic, take a walk through the pre-Christmas shopping center with all its bustle and beauty, which, unfortunately, we are missing so much this year in Kharkiv.

To sum up, it must be said that the working trip was very fruitful and interesting, and will also have its continuation in the form of further cooperation and cooperation between our universities. The delegates are grateful to the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine for the given opportunity.
