UEPA representatives joined the pre kick-off online meeting of ERASMUS+ BIP «Mechanisms for Implementing Universal Approaches to Compliance Management Education»

 

On the way to support international cooperation in higher education, the universities of the European Union and Ukraine have joined forces to develop and implement the ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Program «Mechanisms for Implementing Universal Approaches to Compliance Management Education in EU HEI and Ukrainian HEI» project.

The pre kick-off meeting of the project was held on January 4, 2024 on the MS Teams platform. The agenda included greetings from the project manager, Dr. Anna Fomenko, keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Ali Arnaout on the topic «Key Implementation Aspects of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP): Kick Off Phase 2» and a discussion by representatives of partner universities. The main focus of the participants was on the discussion of the program of the first online phase of the Blended Intensive Program on the subject of Compliance Management Education, which is expected to be implemented in February 2024.

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy is invited to participate in this international program. From UEPA, the following took part in the event:

− coordinator of the initiative from the academy, head of the department of economics and management, prof. Victoriia PROKHOROVA;

− vice-rector for academic affairs and research, prof. Maryna VASYLIEVA;

− head of the permanent working group on internationalization and project activities of the Academy Roman NESTERENKO;

− associate professor of the Department of Marketing and Trade Entrepreneurship Veronika YEVCHENKO;

− associate professor of the Department of Economics and Management Yuliia DUDNIEVA.

ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Program is implemented at the initiative of the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design, (Germany) and with the participation of such universities: Budapest Business School (Hungary), Université de Poitiers (France), Toros University (Turkey), Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique (Portugal) and Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy. The collective focus on the development of education in Compliance Management emphasized the global interest of interaction between EU universities and Ukrainian universities.

This meeting was a significant step on the way to finding ways to harmonize the educational landscape, overcome gaps and form a common vision of education in the field of compliance management in different countries. The spirit of active interaction demonstrated by the participating universities sets the tone for further productive cooperation.
