Participation of the UEPA Marketing and Commercial Business Department applicant in the EU STUDY DAYS project

This year, 3rd year student of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business Anastasiia Pylypchenko took part in the EU Study Days project.

‘It was an incredible experience that I will never forget,’ said Nastia.

From 19 February, to 8 April, she studied in an online group with other motivated and talented people from all over Ukraine. Students had the opportunity to listen to lectures and participate in seminars with leading Ukrainian and European experts on European integration.

At the end of the online school, the top twenty students who took part in the offline school were selected, and our student was among them.

The offline school was held at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 25-29 April. During these five days, many lectures on the European Union were given. The lectures were delivered not only by Ukrainian lecturers, but also by representatives of other countries, such as Germany and Lithuania.

The most important task of this event was a strategic game - the most interesting part of the School. The aim of this game was to divide the participants into three teams: The European Commission, Ukraine and EU Member States, and we had to simulate the procedure of Ukraine's accession to the EU.

‘Personally, I was a member of the Ukraine team, and our team's task was to analyse the country's compliance with the European Commission's requirements and prepare a “backup plan” for the “grounds” from the member states,’ says Anastasiia.

On 29 April, our applicant officially became a graduate of EU Study Days and received certificates for participation in the online and offline school.

‘In conclusion, I would like to say that what I liked most about EU Study Days is that it is not just lectures and seminars. It's also an opportunity to meet new people, make friends and expand your contact network,’ said Anastasiia.

We are proud of our students!

We wish them further success!
